André Duarte – André works at Ubiwhere as one of the developers on the EMBERS project. He has been working in the fields of interoperability and Open Standards for the last 2 years.

Agnieszka Wrzesień-Gandolfo – Agnieszka works at the UPMC Sorbonne Universités as the European Project Manager of EMBERS project. She has 12 years’ experience in managing European projects. Previously, for 8 years, she was the Coordinator of the Polish Safer Internet Awareness Centre, set up under EC Safer Internet Programme.

Timur Friedman – Timur Friedman leads EMBERS. Lecturer at UPMC, president of the PlanetLab Europe testbed, his PhD in computer science is from UMass Amherst, MS in technology management from Stevens Tech, and BA from Harvard.

Ricardo Poeta – Ricardo Poeta is responsible for communication within the EMBERS project. Having an international background in IT & Business Consulting, he has later specialized in L&D and Group Dynamics and also acts as consultant of Hardware City.

Peter Frech – Peter Frech co-leads EMBERS. He is an experienced data scientist and project manager with a strong background in software engineering. He worked in several international projects with cross-functional teams.

Ricardo Vitorino – Ricardo is a project manager at Ubiwhere leading the technical team who works on the Smart Cities field, namely the Mobility solution exploited in EMBERS. He has been working in the field of Urban Mobility since 2010.

Zahoor Ahmed – Zahoor is one of the developers, responsible for experimentation and testing in EMBERS. He is a researcher at Technical University Berlin in the field of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and currently pursuing his PhD.
Thomas Günther – Thomas Günther is responsible for the coordination of events and evaluation of the EMBERS Mobility Backend throughout 3rd parties. He is working as Solutions Architect at Fraunhofer FOKUS and leads the international industry and research projects covering Industrial IoT and Smart City projects.
